This patient underwent a Forehead Reduction (Hairline Lowering) procedure performed by Dr. Michael J. Yoo, MD, a Double Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon.Prior to surgery, she had undergone hairline tattooing in an attempt to camouflage thinning hair and improve the appearance of her hairline; however, this provided minimal improvement and created a very unnatural appearance.During the procedure, Dr. Yoo removed most of the previously tattooed area and advanced the patient’s native hairline to achieve a more balanced and aesthetically pleasing forehead proportion.The patient is very pleased with her results and reports a significant improvement in her overall appearance and confidence.
